Hi there and welcome to the web site for Hope Valley Venture. Hope Valley Pathfinder Venture is a safe and exciting Christian activity holiday based in the beautiful Hope Valley in the Derbyshire Peak District. Hope Valley Venture ran for the first time in 2007 and we had a fantastic time! The dates for next year's Venture are Saturday 30th July to Saturday 6th August 2011. If you're between 11 and 15 years old on the first day of the Venture then why not join us in the summer? It's going to be just great! Hope Valley Venture is based at Hagg Farm in Bamford, Derbyshire, and becomes our home base for the week. We have exclucive use of the fantastic facilities at the centre, set right in the hills and woodland. Members stay in the comfortable dormitory accommodation and each dorm has its dedicated leader. We also bring in our own team of cooks whose job it is to make sure everyone is well fed! The cost of the Venture this year will be around £230 and is fully inclusive of the wide range of indoor and outdoor activities which include hill walking, climbing, orienteering, caving and abseiling. But Hope Valley isn't just about activities in the great outdoors. There's also plenty of opportunities to find out more about God as evening by evening we meet for lively music, drama and Bible teaching in our informal Evening Meeting.
